VICTA are running a three night trip to the vibrant city of Barcelona in Spain. The city is rich in history with unique architecture, beautiful parks and bustling streets. It is the perfect destination for new experiences and to immerse yourself in a different culture.

We are putting together an exciting itinerary of activities aimed at giving our group a first-hand experience of Catalonian customs and traditions. From art galleries and architecture, to traditional cuisine, walking the streets and being amongst the sights and sounds of Barcelona is the best way to understand its rich tapestry. This trip is a perfect opportunity for any students studying art, design or the Spanish language; and a fantastic event for anyone wishing to try something new and discover that independent travelling is a real possibility for the future.

Planned activities include a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter; sampling local foods; a Gaudi tour including the iconic ‘Sagrada Familia’ and ‘Park Güell’; a trip to the ‘Poble Espanyol’ area where the Olympic Park and Miró Foundation are situated; and a visit to the Picasso Gallery. Accommodation is booked in the heart of Barcelona, close to the ‘Sagrada Familia’. Please note, these are our current planned activities and may be subject to change.

The contribution required towards this trip is £200 which will cover travel, accommodation and all of the organised activities. The young people will require spending money for meals and any souvenirs, snacks and drinks they wish to buy.
