Please join us for a family day full of fun and the chance for your child to experience a hands-on birds of prey encounter. VICTA and Through Scarlett’s Eyes are hosting the day at the Royal Vale Falconry Centre where the children will be able to meet a variety of birds and learn up-close about the similarities and differences of the species on show.

The children can feed the birds, allow them to fly from their hands to one another and will benefit from the knowledgeable falconry staff who will be on-hand to educate us about the birds origins and habitats. This real-life experience will allow the children to explore the different attributes of the birds of prey with the opportunity to hold them and gain a real sense of what these impressive birds are like.

During the day we will also be hosting some bird themed craft activities to entertain the little ones. Families will be asked to bring their own picnic and it should be a lovely opportunity to meet new people over some lunch. There will also be some added fun with a family quiz!
