Date: 4 April 2017
Venue: Milton Keynes Museum – Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Age: 5+ years and families
Cost: £5 per person
Closing Date: 7 March 2017

Families are invited to join us for a day of historical intrigue at Milton Keynes Museum. We will be transported back in time to wander through the traditional house, school room and old fashioned shops. Discover how communications have progressed in the fascinating ‘connected earth’ exhibition and climb aboard a traditional Stony Stratford tram in the transport room.

The museum is very tactile and encourages visitors to pick up and explore most of the objects on display. You can play parlour games, cook your own hot buttered toast on the stove and even play the pianola. The museum aims to bring bygone eras to life with ‘hands on history’, making it an ideal venue for our VICTA families to come together in.

Our family days are aimed at the whole family and strive to entertain the children while bringing parents together to make new connections and friendships.

If you would like to join us on this activity, please apply via the online application form below. Should you be offered a place we will then require a contribution of £5 per person (children under three years of age are free). If we haven’t previously seen them, we will also require a copy of your child’s registration documents or documents to confirm that they are registrable.
