This year’s International Camp on Communication and Computers (ICC) 2017 trip will take place in Belgium, hosted by the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Technical Departement (ESAT) in Leuven, Belgium.

The historic city of Leuven is a picturesque university town located approximately 25 kilometres east of Brussels. The Katholieke Universiteit is the largest and oldest university of the Low Countries and the oldest Catholic university still in existence.

ICC 2017 offers a unique experience for youngsters aged 16 to 21 years to meet students from more than 30 countries around Europe and learn about modern information technology, accessibility and specific equipment for the visually impaired. There are also opportunities to participate in other social and fun workshops like dance, drama, music, goalball, tandem cycling and cooking. Attendees will have many new experiences as well as the opportunity to travel abroad.

VICTA are subsidising this trip and all we ask for is a contribution of £350, this will cover flights, accommodation, food and entrance to ICC. Attendees may wish to bring some extra spending money for souvenirs and there is also a cafe/bar on site. A non-refundable deposit of £150 will be required within seven days of being notified that you have been selected to attend this activity. Accommodation for this year’s activity will be provided off-site in a hotel.
