London Marathon 2010 A big thank you to all the VICTA runners who ran for us in the London Marathon…

15 year old Jack Roughan did VICTA proud in the ISBA World Championships held in America. Jack applied to us in April for funding towards the trip to the USA where he took part in the games organized by the Paralympic committee.

We recently heard back from his father who, told us that Jack won two medals whilst across the pond, including a silver medal for the 100 meters. He shaved a second off his personal best in the process of winning that medal.

Following his success at the ISBA World Championships he was invited to Crystal Palace where he was proudly showing off his VICTA running kit.

We all want to say ‘well done’ to Jack. We hope that we will be hearing some more good news from him soon. Perhaps at some point in 2012 (when there’s some big sporting event happening in London apparently).
