Have you always dreamt of hitting the slopes? VICTA is offering the opportunity to experience skiing in the Alps in a supported environment. Our accommodation is based in the popular resort of ‘Sauze D’Oulx’ in the Turin area of Italy. The resort offers access to the Via Lattea’s 212 pistes and is nestled amongst forests. The area caters well for all standards of skiing ability, with appropriate resources for beginners, which we expect most of our group will be. You do not need any previous experience to apply. Sauze D’Oulx is said to have a good record of sunshine and excellent snow so we are hopeful for many crisp bright days on the glistening slopes! After a busy day skiing, the town also has lots to offer with plenty of bars and restaurants serving delicious Italian cuisine.

Ski lessons will be with instructors who specialise in teaching students with a visual impairment, lessons will run for three hours per day. We expect to split our larger group into smaller groups of three people, each group will have their own specialist instructor.

A full itinerary is yet to be confirmed but we hope to use spare time to enjoy the resort and perhaps grab some rest after the lessons.

We will enjoy five days of skiing before transferring back to Geneva for an overnight stay where we will explore the Christmas market. We will then fly back to Heathrow from Geneva.

Should you be offered a place on this activity you will then be require to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150 by the 22  August 2017 to secure your place. A second payment of £150 will be due by 29 September and a final payment of £100 before 31 October 2017.

Please note to qualify for one of our international trips you must have previously attended a VICTA activity. This requirement is to ensure we understand your needs and can offer the support you will require when travelling with us.

If you are interested in joining VICTA on this activity, please complete the application form below before Tuesday 15 August 2017.
