VICTA is hosting a family day at the Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire. Step back in time to enjoy a period setting including a pub and old-style sweet shop! The village also includes the National Tramway Museum, home to over 60 traditional trams dating from 1900 to 1930.
The site offers much for our group to discover and enjoy including handling boxes, indoor and outdoor play areas, tactile forest sculptures in the woodland walk and tram rides.
Our trip coincides with one of their most popular events of the year – ‘Beside the Seaside’. The Village will be transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a ‘beach area’ complete with deck chairs plus buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles. The centre will have their very own traditional fun fair (rides at an extra cost) and more!
We will meet together in the morning to enjoy some organised family activities. Lunch will be bring your own picnic, or if you prefer, you can purchase your own food at one of the site’s eateries (a café serving hot food and snacks, or the pub which offers snacks).
The afternoon will be free time to enjoy all the site has to offer at your family’s leisure!
This is a great chance to meet other families and enjoy a fun day out. To apply for your place, please complete the online form below before Tuesday 24 April 2018.
