Young Ambassadors 2019/20

VICTA is focused on helping young people develop the skills needed within the workplace. Our Young Ambassadors programme provides participants with opportunities to engage on projects designed to strengthen employability and build business understanding. As members of VICTA’s editorial board, the team has responsibility for the creation and production of the VICTA newsletter – a platform for highlighting personal challenges, endeavour and successes.

Ibraheem Iqbal
Young Ambassador 2019/20

Ibraheem is currently studying Psychology at the University of Liverpool. After he began to lose his sight at the age of 12, Ibraheem found that after a difficult time he was able to persevere and reach where he is now. Ibraheem is keen to help others with their personal well being and hopes he can do so through his role as a Young Ambassador.

Ibraheem is heavily involved in sports and has found that activities such as blind football and cycling have had a really positive impact on his life. He also has an interest in vlogging and will be creating STRiVE videos to help and inspire, as well as coordinating the STRiVE social media accounts.
