British Science Week

Continuing VICTA’s commitment to changing stereotypes and promoting inclusivity in the STEM fields for children and young people with vision impairments, we are delighted to once again be official community partners of British Science Week.

British Science Week 2025 is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths that will take place between 7-16 March 2025. This year’s theme is ‘Change & Adapt’. Find out all of the ways we are supporting the week and how you or your children can get involved.

VICTA Science Fair 2025

The VICTA Science Fair 2025 is live!

Start exploring the VICTA online Science Fair which runs until the end of British Science Week 2025. The fair is full of activity ideas to try at home and wonderful incentives to encourage blind and partially sighted children to start taking part. By giving the activities a try we hope to unlock new passions for the STEM subjects and give vision impaired young people who love science the chance to showcase what they can do! Children and young adults aged 0 to 29 years can enter their experiments and investigations into our competitions for the chance to win a voucher for a science-themed day out or to spend in the Science Museum online shop, so they can continue to feed their curiosity!
