This October half term, VICTA is inviting families to join us for a historical journey through Duxford Imperial War Museum, the home of awe inspiring aircraft; from Second World War classic fighter jets to the modern (and huge!) Concorde.
We will begin our day as a group, enjoying a tour of part of the museum, followed by lunch. Families will be asked to bring their own picnics, or food can purchased on-site at the cafe. After lunch we will venture outside to explore the museum for ourselves, walking through the same hangars and buildings used by the pilots who served at RAF Duxford. We will see aircraft take to the skies from the very airfield that Spitfires first flew from and get up close to over a century of aviation with hundreds of aircraft and objects on display.
This is a unique, hands-on opportunity for children to take a step into British Aviation history and a great setting in which to bring families together.
If you would like to join us, please complete the online form below by Monday 10th September 2018.
