We are looking for volunteers to help assist a group of 14-17s as they take to the slopes!
Spending a day at the SnowDome in Tamworth, our participants will be taken through instruction to learn how to ski with the support of Disability Snowsport. This is sure to be a fun filled experience.
Volunteers will be required to help support participants get kitted up for the experience and supporting on the slopes. Note: this activity will not include skiing for volunteers, but you will be on the slopes supporting with mobility, social facilitation and interaction.
We will have a morning session on the slopes before we break for lunch (which will be provided) and then we will head back out! If you’re ready to help young people with a vision impairment access a new exciting experience, sign up below!
