Sounds of the Cosmos
With Professor Lewis Dartnell

Professor Lewis Dartnell is an astrobiologist and Professor at the University of Westminster. Join him in the video below, on a journey to find out how we can use our ears to explore outer space. Find out what shooting stars, the northern lights, our sun and our planets would sound like if you had radio ears. What do you think has the deepest note in the universe? What does it sound like on board a space station? Take off and start exploring!

If you would like to read more about Professor Lewis Dartnell’s work exploring the cosmos, he has the following books which are also available as audio books, ‘My Tourist Guide to the Solar System and Beyond’, ‘Origins’, ‘The Knowledge’ and ‘Life in the Universe’.

Discovery never stops! Keep checking back and investigating as new activities are added. Stay up-to-date by following VICTA on social media.
