VICTA is offering facilitated travel to St. George’s Park National Football Centre for a Para Football Partially Sighted Futsal Open Trials Day.

The event is open to partially sighted male players aged 16 or over. The players registration link is here.

N.B You must register with this link to confirm attendance at the event. The VICTA travel offer is a separate application form and is not to be used as the event registration form.

VICTA Facilitated Offer

  • VICTA will cover travel expenses up to £50 for those taking part in the Para Football Open Trials on Saturday 2 August
  • This offer only applies to the cost of the travel for a young person aged 16 to 29 with a vision impairment
  • Please also note that this is a limited offer and VICTA reserves the right to close it once we reach capacity

To benefit from this offer, you must:

  • Be eligible for the age category identified for the Para Football Open Trials
  • Be registered or registerable blind or partially sighted (VICTA may ask for a copy of your/your child’s registration documents or a letter from an ophthalmologist as confirmation).

Payment of travel expenses is subject to proof of attendance at the relevant event (a simple photo of you enjoying the event) and travel receipts/mileage claim. Funds are limited so please get your applications in early. Reimbursement will be processed after the event.

Any information or documents supplied must include the applicant’s name, date of birth and visual acuity.

If the applicant is registered, please include a copy of one of the following registration documents: - Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) - Blind Registration Card issued by local authority If the applicant is not registered, please provide: - a letter from an ophthalmologist confirming visual acuity. Please note, applications cannot be processed without these documents.
