Join VICTA on their DofE expeditions for 2024!
VICTA are looking for several proactive and enthusiastic volunteers to support with upcoming Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. The dates and locations for 2024 are as follows:
Training & Practice expedition for Bronze and Silver: Thursday 30 May – Saturday 1 June
The Quarries Scout Campsite, Cosgrove
Bronze Assessed: Friday 6 September – Sunday 8 September
The Quarries Scout Campsite, Cosgrove
Silver Assessed: Friday 13 September – Monday 16 September
Sir John Lowther Centre, Kettering
Volunteers are expected to support with mobility, accessing food and social facilitation.
In addition, volunteers will need to accompany groups while out on expedition which will mean extended periods of walking. Perfect for those who enjoy the great outdoors and are happy to camp. VICTA can provide volunteers with camping equipment if required.
