The VICTA Sunflower Race 2026 is now closed, you can enoy all of the beautiful entries below. Congratulations to Vincent who was the winner of our voucher drawn at random from all of the entries! We have 2 heads flowered and 8 to go! I feel very small underneath the sunflowers.

The children at Quince Tree Day Nursery in South Ockendon, Essex have grown sunflowers in support of VICTA and one has finally opened.

My sunflower has come out and it’s my favourite colour, yellow. I love sunflowers!

2 meters 24 cms! I’ve grown several but this is the tallest. They grew better this year. It has been good fun watching, watering & waiting!

We planted this giant sunflower late and it only bloomed two days ago! it is measured as 7 feet and 2 inches.

I am so excited my seeds are now sprouting up. They are growing. I keep them on the windowsill and water them well.
