Join VICTA as we celebrate British Science Week (7-16 March) with the Natural History Museum in London!

Go behind the scenes at the Museum and explore their Spirit Collection. Accompanied by their knowledgeable science educators, we will discover the treasures that are hidden among their impressive collection of 22 million species housed at the Darwin Centre – including Archie, a 8.62 metre-long Giant Squid!

Activities we have planned for the day include an object-handling session, exploring Mollusca and ammonites; a behind the scenes guided tour and an opportunity to discover the Museum’s Earth Galleries.

We will also be joined by guest speaker, Alan Groom; a VI science educator and teacher who has extensive experience creating inclusive environments and has a passion for inclusivity.

This activity is expected to run from 10am to 2pm however confirmation of timings will be provided if you are successful.
