Try something new this Easter holidays with VICTA and Leicester Rowing Club and experience an adaptive rowing taster day.
During the session you will learn about safety procedures in and around the water and enter the Grand Union Canal ‘Mile Straight’ on a boat with an experienced coach/volunteer.
Programme for the Day
10:30 – Arrive at the Club
10:45 – Welcome and Introductions
11:00 – Familiarisation Tour of the Facilities and Equipment
11:45 – Technique Session on the Rowing Machines
12:30 – Lunch
13:00 – Technical Session in boats on land/landing stages
13:45 – Crews out on the water
14:45 – Crews disembark
15:00 – Closing Session and Refreshments
15:30 – Session Ends
