VICTA has 2027 TCS London Marathon charity places available on both the Saturday and Sunday. 2027 is a one-off spectacular event and you can be part of it – the iconic London Marathon becomes bigger than ever, running over two days, for one year only! Our fundraising download area is packed with fundraising ideas, posters and resources to help you on your way. With a welcome call for every runner, as a small charity team, we are just at the end of the phone whenever you need support.
- Training together! Our charity trainer Graeme will share weekly guides, a training app and virtual webinars help you feel prepared for Marathon day whatever your running level.
- Isolation, loneliness and mental health issues are dominant within the world of sight loss and we need your support. Join us, and together, we can make a difference to vision impaired children and young adults.

Why VICTA needs your support
Your funds will help to change lives. Every penny you fundraise provides a lifeline for children who are blind or partially sighted and their families in the UK.
- Early years days and sensory play packs to support families with very young children with a VI diagnosis
- Family activities to support and empower families with a VI child through shared experiences
- Pre-teen and youth activities to provide hands-on learning and support personal growth in fun, safe and supportive environments
- Young adult activities to support the development of life skills and the transition into adulthood and the workplace
- Family services including the VICTA Parent Portal, Parent Network and online parent workshops help parents overcome the challenges of raising a child with a visual impairment
- VICTA Sport – introducing blind children and young adults into adaptive and inclusive sports

We’d love to welcome you to our friendly and supportive marathon team. The minimum sponsorship for new runners is £2,200.
We value our runners and know that our award-winning work wouldn’t be possible without you. As a thank you to those of you who have previously run the London Marathon for VICTA and for your dedicated loyalty to fundraising for our charity, the minimum sponsorship for returning runners is only £1,900.
