VICTA is offering to reimburse the cost of your VI child’s ticket to your local science centre. The offer is valid for 13 February 2024 to 17 March which marks the end of British Science Week. Before you book and claim the offer, you need to apply via the form below detailing the venue of your choice and dates. We will then be in touch to confirm if we can support your application. Please note to be eligible for this offer your child must be a permanent resident of the UK and registered or registerable as blind or partially sighted, VICTA may ask for a copy of your child’s registration documents or a letter from an ophthalmologist as confirmation. Please note, this is a limited offer and VICTA reserves the right to close it once we reach capacity.

How to apply for the offer

Step 1: Find a science centre you’d like to visit with your VI child – it could be a science museum, computing museum, technology centre or maybe a planetarium!

Step 2: Complete the form below including the website address of the venue you wish to visit and the cost of a child ticket (child ticket ages vary depending on venue).

Step 3: Wait for your application to be approved, we will contact you by email.

Step 4: If we approve your application, book your ticket making sure to keep your receipt. When booking, your child may be entitled to a free carer ticket. Any additional family members will be at your own cost.

Step 5: Email a copy of your receipt to sciencefair@victa.org.uk.

Step 6: VICTA will reimburse the cost of your VI child’s ticket after the offer closes on 17 March 2024.
