Earn your Young Achievers Community badge with VICTA and Blatchington Court Trust this summer in Brighton!
Set in the picturesque South Downs, we will have sole use of the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership Clubhouse. The day will include creating Braille boxes to fill with food that we can donate to somebody in need. We will also take part in a sensory bingo activity while out on a nature trail and decorate plant pots. It’s a great opportunity to meet other VI families and make friends.
The day will run from 11am – 3pm so please bring a packed lunch.
As part of the day, primary school aged children with a vision impairment will earn their VICTA Young Achievers Community badge in a day and continue their way to completing their medal at the end of the year. (Siblings will also earn a Super Siblings certificate and pin-badge for being, well… super!) Special personalised Braille certificates for the Young Achievers will follow soon after the activity.

Please note, VICTA’s Young Achievers Award is aimed at those following a primary school curriculum however if your child is outside of this, we welcome your application to attend the day. Priority will be given to those families with children of a primary school age.
