Future leaders, level up with project management!
We’re calling on you to step forward and be the first to take part in the Environmental Leadership Programme with VICTA.
If you’re ready to take control of your time, your goals, and your future; this eight-month programme is designed specifically for students who want to gain real-world skills in project management through a dynamic, hands-on experience. With a mix of in-person and virtual sessions, you’ll learn how to stay organised, manage deadlines, and lead successful group projects – all while building confidence and collaboration skills that will set you apart.
The coursework will equip you with the leadership skills to deliver an impactful project, the aim of which is to spark change that leaves a lasting mark on the environment and community. The programme also includes a collaborative group project and an unforgettable international trip, giving you the chance to apply what you’ve learned in a global context.
The international trip will be to Amsterdam, to explore the famous canals and museums and conduct research for a project that you will have helped to develop and set. This trip will help to instil life skills and reinforce independent travel all while helping you stand out from the crowd when applying to university and future employers.
The project management element of the course will have each leader taking on a defined role; each contributing to bring the project to life. Leaders will also be expected to fundraise. The funds will be used towards resources for the project you and your team develop for positive change.
VICTA has teamed up with the Leadership Skills Foundation (LSF) to deliver their Environmental Leadership Programme. Developed by LSF alongside the Wild Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), the programme supports young adults like you to develop the skills they need to make positive change for the natural world. Upon completion learners will earn an accredited level 3 qualification in leading a project for positive change, and 8 UCAS points.
