This opportunity to give a range of sports a try will be hosted at the Manchester Communication Academy, easily accessible by tram from the centre or by road. It will be a fun, relaxed day where you can get involved as much, as you like, or cheer on the kids from the side lines!
We’ll be trying:
- blind baseball
- VI cricket
- goalball
- showdown (the VI sport which is becoming really popular with young people!)
Our hosts for the day will be the fantastic Lancashire Lions VI Sports Club. Their experienced coaches will lead the whole family through the sessions and have lots of information on how to continue taking part. They host regular weekly and monthly sessions for young people across a variety of sports. To find out more about the club, visit: https://llvisc.com/
VICTA Sport and the Lancashire Lions are looking forward to welcoming you this half-term February!
If your child is on a primary aged curriculum, taking part in the day could also go towards earning their Sports Young Achievers Award!
