Come and get active in the beautiful outdoors of Carroty Wood Activity Centre this November and earn your ‘Super Me’ Sport Young Achievers pin badge.
We will be making the most of the wonderful woodland setting by making our way around the site in a fun geocaching ‘treasure hunt’, using our problem solving skills and working as a team to find the prize. This is a great opportunity to develop your orientation and mobility skills in a fun, supportive environment.
After all that fresh winter air, we will warm up indoors with some cricket skills and games with Kent Cricket. Kent Cricket runs the Kent VI cricket team, Kent Spitfires VICC: https://bcew.co.uk/the-clubs/kent-spitfires-vicc/
At the end of the day, you will earn your ‘Super Me’ pin badge!
FAQs:
What is the VICTA Sports Young Achievers Award?
Following the success of the The VICTA Young Achievers Award, we are excited to introduce our all-new award centred around sports. The VICTA Sport Young Achievers Award challenges children following a primary curriculum to take on three rounds of sporting fun to become the ultimate VICTA Sport Young Achiever, earning pin badges as they go and finally a very special medal!

My child hasn’t completed their ‘Get Set’ badge yet, does that mean we can’t attend this day?
No – you can either complete your ‘Get Set’ badge activities before you come on this SYA day or you can complete it afterwards. You will then be able to start earning the final badge, ‘Super Me’ from November.
Can siblings take part?
Yes – like the original Young Achievers Award, siblings taking part can earn their Super Siblings award.
