VICTA is offering to reimburse you for any activity, event, exhibition or show that you go to – as long as it’s related to books!

After launching VICTA Beyond the Book and receiving an influx of applications, we realised just how many of you are keen readers! To help you keep engaging with books, we are excited to offer Beyond the Book members reimbursement for any book-related activity you go to between now and March 2027.

Choose an activity near you, send us proof of your attendance, and we’ll cover the cost of your tickets up to the value of £30. Here are some examples of where you could go:

• Attend a play or show based on a book
• Visit a reading event at your local library
• Go to places dedicated to an author. For example, the Brontë Parsonage, Roald Dahl museum, Beatrix Potter museum, the Story Museum – or somewhere similar near you
• Try an escape room with a literary theme! Such as Mission: Mad Hatter at Z-Arts.

We will review applications on a monthly basis, so get yours in today!

How to register for reimbursement

1. Apply for Beyond the Book. As well as this travel offer, Beyond the Book members get access to unlimited listening with Audible Premium, and unlock the chance to win amazing prizes, such as bespoke pin badges, tactile bookmarks, Amazon Alexas and Kindles, and even a trip to Harry Potter Studios!
2. Once you have enjoyed your event or activity, please fill in the form below and attach your booking confirmation. It must clearly show the date of your attendance and the cost of your/your VI child’s ticket.
3. You will then receive email confirmation that your reimbursement claim has been successful.
4. You will receive an email with a form to complete in order to process your reimbursement.

Please note: VICTA will only reimburse the cost of a vision impaired attendee’s ticket, and they must be a member of Beyond the Book. To be eligible for this offer you or your child must be aged 12 to 18, and registered or registerable as blind or partially sighted. VICTA may ask for a copy of you or your child’s registration documents or a letter from an Ophthalmologist as confirmation.
