Explore Your Paralympic Potential event
Explore Events are exciting talent discovery days delivered by National Governing Bodies in partnership with ParalympicsGB. They’re designed to uncover athletic potential and connect you with performance pathways and opportunities that could lead to elite sport.

You’ll choose 5 sports to try on the day:
Athletics – British Athletics & England Athletics
Climbing – British Mountaineering Council
Cycling – British Cycling
Football – The FA
Goalball – Goalball UK
Judo – British Judo
Rowing – British Rowing
Swimming – AquaticsGB + Swim England
Triathlon – British Triathlon

VICTA travel offer
- VICTA will cover travel expenses up to £50 for those taking part in the ‘Explore Your Paralympic Potential’ events
- This offer only applies to the cost of the travel for a young person with a vision impairment between the ages of 10-25
- Please also note that this is a limited offer and VICTA reserve the right to close it once we reach capacity.
To benefit from this offer, you must:
- be aged between 10 to 25 years old
- be registered or registerable blind or partially sighted (VICTA may ask for a copy of you/your child’s registration documents or a letter from an ophthalmologist as confirmation).
Payment of travel expenses is subject to proof of attendance at the relevant event (a simple photo of you enjoying the event) and travel receipts/mileage claim. Funds are limited so please get your applications in early. Reimbursement will be processed after the event.
