Join VICTA and dust off those dancing shoes to support a group of 18+ participants at a Latin & Ballroom taster day!
We are delighted to be working with Step Change Studios to be able to offer 18+ participants the opportunity to get those toes tapping and try their hand (and feet!) at Latin and Ballroom dancing.
The day will include introductory sessions to Latin and Ballroom dance, information on Step Change Studios and the work they do as well as hearing from a VI dancer who has recently competed at the very famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
VICTA are looking for volunteers to step to the beat and be dance partners for our participants. Participants will learn a short, choreographed routine in Latin and Ballroom Dance. The day will end with short demonstrations from each dancing pair to show what they’ve learned. You do not need to have any dancing experience to volunteer on this activity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to try something new while having lots of fun.
