Earn your Young Achievers Nature badge with Moorvision at Wildwood Devon!

Spread across 40 acres of gardens and woodland in the heart of Devon, Wildwood is home to brown bears and wolves to arctic foxes, red squirrels, otters and more! The park features outdoor and indoor play areas where children can enjoy endless fun, while parents relax. The Saxon village will be open, and we will listen to two animal talks. There are additional activities you can choose to take part in on the day. VICTA will be bringing Sensory Bingo.

You can bring a packed lunch or eat at one of Wildwood’s cafes. The day will run from 10:30am and you are welcome to stay until the park closes at 5pm.

As part of the day, primary school aged children with a vision impairment will earn their VICTA Young Achievers Nature badge in a day and continue their way to completing their medal at the end of the year. (Siblings will also earn a Super Siblings certificate and pin-badge for being, well… super!) Special personalised Braille certificates for the Young Achievers will follow soon after the activity.

Please note, VICTA’s Young Achievers Award is aimed at those following a primary school curriculum however if your child is outside of this, we welcome your application to attend the day. Priority will be given to those families with children of a primary school age.

We ask that if your child is coming on a VICTA activity and they use Whatsapp regularly to remind them their behaviour and language follows the expectations that we have when meeting in person – polite, courteous, and inclusive at all times.
