Highfield
Highfield, one of the UK’s largest awarding organisations, has supported VICTA since 2013, and in 2022 hit its fundraising target for VICTA of £100,000 a full 3 years ahead of schedule.
Highfield Managing Director Chris Sprenger stated,
‘I couldn’t be prouder of our team. They’ve gone over and above anything we expected when we decided to welcome VICTA as our charity of choice. VICTA is an incredible charity and we are fortunate to see where the funds raised are used, as many of our team are directly involved with the charity. If there are organisations that are looking to work closely with a charity, I would really recommend giving the VICTA team a call’.

Despite hitting this milestone, Doncaster-based Highfield has no plans to slow down its fundraising effort. But they do so much more than just raise money. They give their time, energy and expertise to have fun with, engage with and support vision impaired young people on our activities to help them find their confidence and build social and life skills to help with their transitions between school, university, the workplace and their communities.
It is fair to say that its work for the charity has become ingrained in its very operations, with Highfield’s brand-new offices having a sensory VICTA-themed room for its team to understand more about the challenges faced by visually impaired youngsters.
VICTA CEO Nick Schofield recognises the importance of corporate partners:
‘Thank you never quite seems enough. But what can be said it that our association with Highfield means so much more to us than just fundraising. From expert advice to digital resources, their support on a number of major projects has been invaluable. Moreover, the energy, commitment and positivity volunteers from Highfield provide is infectious and creates a space for our young people who are blind or partially sighted to be themselves. They bring the perfect balance of guidance, encouragement and humour to the challenges our young people face. Together, we have shaped a lasting and meaningful relationship built on respect, understanding and adventure.’
