Arts Award has a range of unique qualifications that support anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders. And strive to gain key attributes beyond the classroom such as confidence, self-advocacy and communication.
Achieve your Arts Award with VICTA…
Whether you are completing an Arts Award Discover or Explore it will all take place whilst you are on a VICTA activity. We will support you through the whole process, alongside some likeminded peers, to ensure you collaboratively achieve your qualification together. Not only that, you will learn alongside some of the best professionals in their field, get to keep the art work you create and gain a certificate to commemorate your achievement.
What is the difference between Discover and Explore?
Arts Award Discover
To achieve an Arts Award Discover, you will need to collect evidence in an individual arts log containing experiences of:
- participating in arts activities
- researching artists and their work
- sharing your arts discoveries
Arts Award Explore
Arts Award Explore is an Entry Level (Entry 3) qualification. To achieve an Arts Award Explore, you will have to evidence in an individual arts log containing experiences of:
- active participation in a range of arts activities, including a personal response about what you have learnt from taking part
- experience of arts organisations, artists and their work
- creating a piece of art work
- identification of what you have enjoyed and/or achieved, and your communication of this to others
