December is here and we’re dreaming of snow
These frosty decorations can’t wait to say hello!

Charlie Sharp, age 4

What Charlie told us about his decoration: “This is Charlie the snowman he’s very giggly and loves feeling all the snow in his hands and even in his large mouth!”

Image description: Snowman decoration made from a circle of purple glittery card with a slightly smaller circle of gold sparkly card stuck above to make the tummy. The snowman’s head has a photo of Charlie pulling a cheeky face in the middle. The snowman has pipe cleaner arms and is holding another pipe cleaner which is threaded with beads above his head. The snowman has cotton wool on his hat.

Age 8

What the entrant told us about his decoration: “Beautifully made paper snowman made by one special little boy with the help of his lovely, kind and caring siblings.”

Image description: White paper has been folded like a fan and then bent round and joined together for form a circle. This circle forms the snowman’s body which has three small black dots stuck on for buttons. A smaller circle has been stuck on for his head which has a smiley face made from small bits of paper stuck on, including a carrot nose! He has a red scarf and a black hat made from card and a red shiny pipe cleaner to hang him from.

Megan Holder, age 9

What Megan told us about her decoration: “I have used a circle of wood threaded onto a piece of string and painted it bright blue for a cold night. I’ve used white to paint on some snowflakes and a fat snowman and a black paint for his buttons and stick arms and eyes and mouth. His nose is orange like a carrot. The white and the blue are very different colours and make the snowman stand out. There is glitter on it as well.”

Phoenix Lewis, age 5

What Phoenix told us about his decoration: “This is Phoenix’ snowmen made with his sister’s help”

Image description: Phoenix has used white card cut into the shape of snowmen and decorated them with foam stickers. They have wobbly eyes and one has a feather for a scarf.
