Love your eyes - World Sight Day 2024

Love your Eyes for World Sight Day 2024

This year World Sight Day takes place on Thursday 10 October 2024 and will highlight the critical importance of prioritising child eye health, and give children everywhere the opportunity to love their eyes.

As a charity supporting children and young people with vision impairments, VICTA is supporting this world vision day and helping to being eye health to the front of people’s minds.

World Sight Day is coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) under the Love Your Eyes campaign banner and this year the international sight day is putting children at the centre of the campaign.

You can join the IAPB in making the case loudly and repeatedly that eye health in young people is not an optional extra. You can enter their fun ‘Love your Eyes’ competition, photo competition, or make a pledge to love your child’s eyes.
